![]() People disagreeing with you on a forum in reaction to you complaining about something isn't really toxic, it's to be expected. People threatening your life, throwing slurs at you or telling you to kill yourself is toxic. i think you really need to rethink you what you consider toxic. Literally my first time coming into the community and get shafted by this. Originally posted by Sylveous:Good example of the community here. They're a community of their own, seperate from the rest usually The steam forums is never a good, not even a remotely good example of any community. If you go to the reddit, discord, community discords, etc then you'll see a lot of really nice people willing to help you out, they'll still be tired of "I got a super OP build with command" but they're still good people in a nice community.īut also yes, the steam forums, regardless of what game it is, will always be a toxic cesspool that will only net frustration in the end if you stay here for prolonged periods of time. It's not that the RoR2 community is toxic, it's that they're just sick of seeing it. You go on to multiplayer every time you play and see the exact same boring "command/swarm/sacrifice" run lobbies, it was fun at first but gets boring fast when every run is predictable and op, and there's zero need for managing your items because everything you get is the best anyways. well, it's something a lot of people are sick of. ![]()
